Wellness Events – Terms & Conditions

The Maidstone Wellness Space

We want everyone attending our wellness events to have a safe, enjoyable and positive experience. Please take a moment to read our terms and conditions before booking.

Health & Wellbeing

Our wellness events include a variety of activities, from relaxation and sound baths to movement workshops, Reiki and talks exploring different aspects of health and wellbeing.

While we take care to create a safe and welcoming environment, it’s important that you consider your own health and individual circumstances before attending.

If you have any medical concerns, are pregnant, recovering from an injury or are unsure whether an event is suitable for you, please seek appropriate medical advice before booking.

Please let the event practitioner know about any relevant health conditions or concerns that may affect your participation.

We encourage everyone to listen to their body, respect their own limits and let the practitioner know if they experience discomfort or feel unwell.

Our wellness events are intended to support general wellbeing, relaxation and education. They are not a substitute for medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.

Event Practitioners

We work with a variety of teachers, therapists and practitioners who bring their own experience and expertise to our events.

Some events are delivered by independent visiting practitioners. Each practitioner is responsible for delivering their session safely and within their professional competence.

Participation in any activity is voluntary, and you are always welcome to sit out or adapt an activity if necessary.

Bookings & Cancellations

Places at our wellness events are limited, and advance booking and payment are required to secure your place.

If you need to cancel:

  • More than 7 days before the event: We can offer a refund or credit towards another event.
  • Within 7 days of the event: Bookings are non-refundable unless we are able to fill your place.
  • You are welcome to transfer your booking to someone else, provided you let us know before the event.

If we need to cancel an event:

Occasionally, we may need to cancel or reschedule an event due to illness, insufficient bookings or circumstances beyond our control.

If we cancel an event, you will be offered a full refund or the opportunity to transfer your booking to another date.

We cannot accept responsibility for additional expenses, such as travel or accommodation costs.

Personal Responsibility & Liability

By booking and attending an event, you acknowledge that some activities may involve physical movement, relaxation techniques or other experiences that affect individuals differently.

You agree to participate voluntarily, take reasonable care of your own wellbeing and follow the guidance provided by the event practitioner.

The Maidstone Wellness Space and its practitioners take reasonable steps to provide a safe environment. However, we cannot guarantee particular results or outcomes from attending an event.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Event Information

Please check the event description carefully before booking, as each event may have different requirements.

Some events may ask you to bring comfortable clothing, a yoga mat or other personal items. Any specific information will be provided in advance.

We ask everyone to arrive on time, respect other participants and help us maintain a calm and welcoming environment.
